My younger brother fought back with, at various times in our sibling career: standing behind me with a pitchfork as I swung on a swing (yes, it got me in the back), throwing a snowball at me that was basically pure ice -- though he didn't really know that, seeing as how it was the first time either of us had ever seen snow -- and giving me a black eye, and other vengeful acts I have mercifully forgotten.
